Levante

Levante ... the name itself spells luxurious and quality. Did a search in Wikipedia, seems like the nearest explanation next to it is a small town in Italy called Sierra de Levante.
Indeed it is ... live up to the name. Recently I bought few pairs of Levante Romantic 50 series from StockingsHQ. A series that made of Meryl microfibre, blended with Lycra, for an incredibly soft but durable feel. It is in fact a 50 denier opaque hold-ups that made up by 89% of nylon and 11% of Lycra. Medium density opaque with stretch lace top and a reinforced toe too!

Tried it on today and immediately I can feel it blend so nicely with my legs. Run my fingers along the entire length and the only word that I can said ... wow ! Even under my normal long pants to work, the 50 denier hardly posed any significant discomfort all day long! In fact I feel extra comfort esp love the feeling of scratching my pants against the microfibre whenever I walk. The feeling is just extraordinary and feels really good!
Will definately wait for another round delivery offer from SHQ to get myself more. Imagine only at 1.69 pound per pair ... such a good bargain!

Best sighting of hosiery

Lately I had been frequently flying and of course the airline check-in counter will be the place where I visited most.

The most fascinating sighting for hosiery that I had been so far must be none other than Changi Airport in Singapore. Particularly on SQ check-in counter and all over the vicinity of Changi - almost all the young female staff will be in black opaque. More amazing some of them is rather young.

It is really cool to watch them flashing their opaque legs, walking all over. Am thinking are they really enjoy it or it is just because of work obligation as a standard part of their daily uniform?

Whatever it is - I am really enjoying myself looking at them and can't help start to wonder if only I can start to wear just like them - without the bias perception of the asian society! Sigh ....

The consolation is that at least there is someone who make sure hosiery is part of daily uniform and hopefully this will eventually entice someone to indulge in the passion world of hosiery!

Just back from Singapore ...

Life has been quite exciting for the last couple of weeks! Been away for a company training in Singapore. Training itself - well what can I said other than boring !

The only thing interesting is walking around in Orchard Road - fortunately still find some woman with hosiery on! Thanks God!!!

Anyway, am wondering what happen to the younger generation where almost all of them are bare legs while the mature woman are mainly in hosiery.

I got a chance to actually talk to few lady online and asking their opinions. Generally the thought of putting hosiery makes them "older"! That's rather not surprising since most of the wearer are mature lady anyway. In return I did expressed how it should be look from a different angle - its a piece of feminine garment that so delicate that will eventually makes them feels good about themself. All they responded was they will try to put it on and see how it goes.

I remembered few months ago I got a chance to witness a live fashion show in 1-Utama new wing. It was quite a long and big show. The good part was I did saw some models walked in fancy colorful hosiery! Problem I see ... not enough ... it should be all of the times. I know this is rather too much to ask for but I suppose this is a good way to start. Start by promoting hosiery as a fashion in show and that's how it will the flow into the mind of younger generation!
